Deleting a federated search target
If you are no longer using a specific search target or need to remove it from the system, you can delete it. Deleting a federated search target deletes the connection to the federated search source.

If you try to delete a Discovery target, federated target, or search limit that is in use in at least one room, the software displays an error message indicating that it will not delete the target or limit until it is no longer associated with any room in any profile. (To remove the target from all profiles, see Fields: Assign Target to Profiles.) |

If you delete a search target that has a search result display associated with it, Portfolio deletes all the settings associated with the search target, including all search result displays. |
To delete a federated search target
- Login to the Admin console.
- Choose Federated Search Sources.
- Choose the Search Targets option next to the search source for which you want to delete search targets.
- Choose the Delete option next to the search target that you want to delete.
